Exceptionally comfortable and simple hotel in a shopping area next to Gran Via station, and Gran Via and major attractions. Cheap and big size rooms with central heating, multi-channel television and a writing desk. Very clean bed, smooth check-in: )

It's in the city centre and very cheap.
not too many power plugs and a bit noisy but all the hotels in the city centre are a bit noisy so I knew about it.

We chose this site because we had 5 people (3 kids) and needed a relatively cheap hotel for just one night before leaving the country from Atocha station after a 2 week trip to Spain where we stayed in apartments. Frankly, it was clean and so far no bed bugs but overall it is pretty much what you might expect for a room with 4 beds (2 bunks a twin and a double) for 50 euros, just kind of yucky. Really noisy at night but what can you expect for staying in this area. We did have our own bathroom outside of the room which was also fine. The people at the desk were nice. The location was great for seeing Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Grand Via, shopping etc. If you stay there, walk about 5-10 minutes to the Valor Chocolate shop for great Curros and Chocolate - YUM!!!! So, I would not recommend this place for anyone other than people who need a really cheap place for a day or so - probably backpackers. We were so tired that everyone slept ok despite sirens every hour or so and lots of street noise.

The only great thing about this pension is the location. The room looks like the renovation was not finished in there. There is no wardrobe or anything else to put your things in.

Staff were very helpful---called a taxi for us at 04:00. It was very easy to walk anywhere.
It is in a very sexual neighborhood--not good for young children.
